Welcome from the Principal Dear Visitors and friends, Welcome to our Saint Edward School website. Our school theme this year is “Children of the WORD….Alive in Faith.” As the Catholic Church celebrates the Year of Faith over the next year, we note how the spirit of that faith permeates all of our children. They are truly alive in their enthusiasm, openness, and putting into action they faith they learn. The traditions of both the Dominican Order of Sisters who founded the school, and the Precious Blood Order of priests that staff the parish, are both Orders that believe strongly in service and outreach. Both of these traditions are rich in their history of outreach, service, and education, allowing us to offer a rich Catholic education in our school. We are thankful for the legacy we have inherited of Catholic formation and quality education within an active community of prayer and service. With grateful hearts for all that has come before us, we give ourselves to nurturing within our youth a love of God and learning as well as, a ministry of Christian outreach to others. As a school we foster in our students the expectation that both academic and spiritual formation is important to living the Gospel values. God has blessed us with support, inspiration and commitment. Dedicated faculty and staff annually participate in prayer and retreats, professional in-service and outreach to the poor and needy. For all that has been, we are grateful. For all that will be, we give ourselves with enthusiasm and dedication. We are ambassadors for Christ, and through Christ we daily involve ourselves in the ministry of Catholic education in support of our students, families and Church. Thank you for visiting our website!
