Dear Visitors,

Welcome to Saint Edward School website. Our theme this year is “Let your light shine, share your gifts.” As beings created in God’s image, we are indeed the Body of Christ. To paraphrase St. Teresa of Avila…God has no hands or feet, no eyes or ears, no loving heart but ours. Have you ever thought of yourselves as God’s hands and feet, eyes and ears, God’s compassionate heart? What wonderful things can be accomplished by saying “Yes” to God’s call to serve…to be Christ for others! Together as Christ’s Body we can reach out to those who are in need in a myriad of ways. Together as Christ’s Body we can make a positive difference in our families, community, and the world. Together as Christ’s Body we can build up the Kingdom of God. As the St. Edward Parish School family, we say “Yes” to God’s call to serve knowing that we are indeed God’s hands and feet, eyes and ears, loving and compassionate heart.

I look forward this year to our partnership with God and with each other as we undertake the sacred mission of educating our children secure in the knowledge that God will bless our endeavors with all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. As we go about each day we can reflect on the words of the prophet Samuel,

“Here I am. You called me.”
